Welp, another low blow for the beige brethren of the world. Vice President of #TeamLightSkin, Chris Brown was arrested early Sunday and charged with felony assault. One of his bodyguards was also arrested. A man, whose name has not been released, is accusing Breezy of attacking him and breaking his nose.
The man claims that it all started when he and a friend jumped in a photo that Brown was taking with two female fans. The alleged victom told TMZ.com that Brown shouted, “I’m not into this gay sh*t. I’m into boxing.” (insert blank stare…….here) He said Brown then punched him in the face, breaking his nose and knocking him to the ground. He also told TMZ that he has already gotten a lawyer and plans to press charges.
A witness told the Daily News that Brown went “out of control” when the victim nudged his way into the fan photo. He said he only saw part of the incident and did not hear Brown use a homophobic slur. “He just went nuts,” the witness said of Brown. “These guys just jumped in a photo. It was a joke.”
The violence erupted about two hours after Brown performed at The Park at Fourteen nightclub, just four blocks from where the alleged assault took place. The gig was part of homecoming festivities for Howard University.
Chris is set to appear in court on November 20th for a probation hearing for his 2009 assault incident with Rihanna. This current arrest could result in Brown’s probation being revoked and him serving 4 years in jail.
Although I don’t wish jail on anybody, I do believe that a little jail time would be in his best interest. There is something really wrong with him and taking him out of the public eye may help get his thoughts…no…his LIFE straight. Al B. Sure and El Debarge need to call Iyanla to fix their baby brother’s life.
